The Toyota RAV4 was the first fully hybrid compact SUV vehicle Toyota took to market. On top of the new hybrid technology, they upgraded the equipment specifications across the RAV 4 range and have introduced Toyota Safety Sense, a package of active safety and driver assistance features, as an option on all versions of RAV 4 beyond the entry point model.
There is a new four-grade line up of improved equipment specifications on the RAV 4. The Icon grade features Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system with touchscreen, six speaker audio system with DAB radio, adaptive cruise control, 17 inch alloys, reverse camera, LED daytime running lights, rear privacy glass and power-retractable folding door mirrors. The Icon Plus gains Toyota Touch 2 with Go Navigation.
In addition to the Icon Plus, the Design trim level gains 18" black machined-face alloy wheels, front LED headlights, leather/alcantara seats and door trim, heated front seats, height-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support and auto headlight levelling. The range topping Excel spec features in addition to the Design trim, 10" black painted 5-double spoke alloy wheels, a choice of 3 different colour leather interiors, rear cross traffic alert (RCTA), blind-spot moniter (BSM), Toyota Touch 2 with Go Navigation and enhanced features, black door mirrors and driver's seat memory function.
