      What is your valuation score?

      Vehicle valuations aren’t only based on your car’s make, model and mileage. Other factors, such as the vehicle’s condition and its service history, affect the maximum price you can obtain for it. Below, we’ve provided a summary of what is required, helping you to understand how we’ve valued your car, and ensuring you get the best possible deal.

      Showroom Condition If your car is in showroom condition, it means there’s no reconditioning or paintwork touch-ups needed, and the alloy wheels and tyres are in good condition. Tyre tread depth is at least 5mm on all tyres, and the vehicle has retained the original factory specification. To achieve this score, you will also need to provide a full service history and MOT certificate, plus two keys.
      Average Condition Average condition generally means that some work is needed to bring the vehicle up to scratch for resale. For example, retouches to the paintwork or wheels may be required. The car will have a full service history and MOT certificate, and comes with two keys.
      Below Average Condition If the car is awarded a below average status, it means mechanical issues are present, or there’s significant damage to the body or wheels that will need repairing. A poor service history or less than a month remaining on the MOT certificate would also contribute to a below average status.
