Hours of Work: 9.00am – 6.00pm Monday - Friday with 1 hr lunch each day.
THE ROLE
To ensure the movement or delivery of vehicles on or off site is carried out in a safe and responsible manner. You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of vehicles to and from our customers, so you must be an experienced Driver and have had some Customer Service experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring vehicles are parked safely and that our stock is displayed correctly.
NON EXHAUSTIVE DUTIES INCLUDE:
To collect and deliver vehicles to and from customers ensuring accuracy and efficiency and select quickest and most suitable routes.
To deliver and collect cars from the Company compound and deliver to other dealerships.
To keep the vehicle parking entrances clear at all times allowing enough room to remove a particular vehicle where possible.
Ensuring there are parking spaces available to customers on site at all times.
To ensure that all site and customers’ vehicles are treated with care and attention at all times especially when parking and / or driving off site. Ensure adequate safety and security procedures are followed to protect the vehicle.
To ensure company vehicles are parked correctly as directed by the Sales Manager, displaying all relevant sales information.
Preparing photographs/videos of vehicle stock.
To ensure the parking area is kept clean and tidy and free from refuse at all times and arrange vehicles that are parked in the allotted areas in a neat and tidy manner.
Any other ad hoc duties / projects as required by the General Manager/Sales Department.
THE PERSON:
Full Clean Driving Licence
Confident Driver with good knowledge of the local area.
Experienced in driving both manual and automatic vehicles
Must hold a valid UK driving licence (over 21 years for insurance purposes)
Well presented and have good communication skills to be able to interact with staff and customers.
Friendly, flexible and committed to being a valuable member of the team
