Customer Advisor – Self Storage Twickenham

Are you an experienced Customer Service or Sales Advisor? Are you looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we are recruiting for a Storage Customer Advisor and we are looking for individuals just like you!

Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am till 6pm with 1 hour lunch, late night 10am till 7pm every other Thursday.
Must be flexible to cover sickness / holidays during the weekend as and when required.

Due to internal promotion, we have a vacancy for a Customer Advisor to provide cover within our self-storage in Twickenham.

The Person:

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring company profitability through the provision of continuous sales activities, excellent customer service and a high level of organisational skills. We are looking for someone with the ability and drive to make a difference, demonstrating a high level of commitment to customer care values and presenting a professional image at all times.

You must be customer focused and flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good numeracy skills and possess a genuine interest in sales.

You will also be responsible for assisting the Supervisor in all aspects of running and developing the self-storage business by achieving targets in the sales of our units and merchandising and providing every customer with an outstanding service.
Applicants must have a good level of general education including Maths and English and be IT literate with practical experience of working within a customer service environment.

Key Tasks:

• Answering all telephone enquiries efficiently and satisfactorily
• Advising customers of cost and services, both on the telephone and in person
• Showing potential customers around the premises
• Up selling storage products and services including cold calling
• Preparing customer contracts
• Sending mail merges
• Collating customer details and maintain database
• General housekeeping ensuring the premises are kept neat and tidy

Previous experience would be an advantage.
