The 2016 Geneva Motor Show recently took place and Toyota, Lexus and SEAT all had something special to offer.
Firstly Toyota, who showed the world the new, production-ready C-HR, a bold new design and demonstration of sophisticated engineering. The C-HR will give Toyota a new presence in the growing C-segment crossover market. It stands for Coupe High Rider and with its 5-door coupe design and elevated SUV style cabin, will bring an engaging driving experience.
The new Hilux also made its European debut in Geneva. Its brand new design is built on a new, stronger chassis. It features a new, more efficient 2.4 litre D-4D engine and really is tougher than ever before.
Toyota’s final show stopper was the Proace Verso, a large size MPV that can carry up to nine people. It comes in three different body lengths, with a host of safety and convenience features. Like the C-HR, the Proace Verso allows Toyota to expand its range into a new part of the market.
Lexus also had some new cars on show with the LC 500h making its public debut. Equipped with a next generation hybrid powertrain, the LC 500h will provide higher performance, more driving pleasure and greater efficiency.
The LF-FC concept car was also on display. First seen at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show, the LF-FC is powered by a high-output fuel cell system and features advanced touchless controls and automated driving technologies.
Lastly, SEAT! They showcased the new Ateca, a beautifully designed SUV that gives SEAT a strong offering in the SUV segment. The Ateca comes with a high level of technology and safety features and is designed to make the everyday a little more exciting!
A strong offering from all at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and very exciting times ahead!
