Now sharper and more exhilarating than ever before, the RC F’s new look
was inspired by the Lexus RC F GT3 race cars. Developed at our technical
centre near Fuji Speedway, the car features an extraordinarily rigid
chassis and race-tuned suspension. The RC F has been styled for optimum high speed stability. The wheels and tyres are wider and it features an active rear wing, air scoops, cooling ducts and carbon fibre components. These new addition will deliver, what Lexus describes as ‘functional beauty’.
Honed to perfection in the wind tunnel in Japan’s Aichi prefecture, providing racetrack-bred styling and aerodynamic performance, the RC F is primed to cope with any kind of road or weather conditions. Stacked LED lights with integrated daytime running lights, a body coloured rear diffuser, an updated grille shape with larger mesh and new rear integrated taillights offer a cleaner and more chiselled appearance.
Built for exhilarating performance, the RC F has a 5.0-litre V8 engine, the most powerful engine Lexus has ever built. It also includes electronic launch control as standard, allowing drivers to achieve 0-62 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The weight has been reduced without compromising the coupe’s sense of refinement and solidity. The New RC F has been tested at the gruelling Nürburgring 24-hour race and Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado.
The RC F’s driving instruments represent a further development of the
LFA supercar’s amazing central dial. Information shown includes a large
tachometer, digital and analogue speed readouts and a Torque Vectoring
Differential monitor. In addition, drivers can stay up-to-date though a
G-Force meter, oil and water temperature gauges, fuel consumption
information and even a stopwatch.

*Figures are provided for comparability purposes; only compare fuel consumption and CO2 figures with other cars tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real-life driving results. All vehicles are certified according to the World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). CO 2 figures (and hence car tax and recommended "on the road" prices) may differ from information printed before 1 April 2020, due to a change in the official method of calculation. Please visit www.vehicle-certification-agency.gov.uk/fcb/wltp.asp for the latest information. Choice of options and accessories fitted (pre-registration) may affect the official CO2 figures, car tax and "on the road" price. Find out more about WLTP or contact us
