The Lexus CT is powered by the world’s most sophisticated energy system. The 1.8 litre petrol-hybrid engine runs on a high-output electric motor with an advanced compact battery. The CT Hybrid offers exceptional driving comfort and efficient hybrid performance. In near-silent EV (Electric Vehicle) mode it uses no petrol, produces zero emissions and, because it’s a Lexus Hybrid, never needs plugging in to recharge.
Furthermore, the minimal noise produced by the engine and the superbly insulated cabin emphasises the famed Lexus refinement and ride quality. A commodious interior offers an astounding degree of comfort, featuring such standard amenities as dual-zone electronic climate control, heated leather seats and an in-car humidity sensor.
A premium car audio system is sure to keep you entertained, with a seven-inch colour screen and premium sound through no less than 13 speakers. A satellite navigation system and adaptive cruise control are amongst the optional extras available. The CT is also an extremely safe car, with a standard seven airbags accompanied by a host of stability and traction control systems – making it well worth its five-star rating from Euro NCAP.
