It’s the brightest version of the Aygo family yet and it will arrive just in time for the Summer sun! The new x-cite makes a bold statement with its Yellow Fizz paintwork and contrasting black roof and pillars.
The wasp-like appearance is given even more impact with the Aygo’s famous mix-and-match body elements. The front ‘x’, front pillar extensions, door mirror castings and rear bumper insert, are all finished in Bold Black and the 15-inch alloys are painted Glossy Black.
Inside the cabin has the same contrasting features, with a Yellow Fizz finish for the seat side bolsters, door panel inserts, air vent surrounds, gearshift knob and carpet mat edging. While the instrument panel, centre console and gear lever surround all feature Bold Black inserts.
Standard features on the new x-cite include the seven-inch, full-colour x-touch multimedia system with DAB, MirrorLink for compatible mobile phone integration and a rear-view reversing camera. On top of this it has six airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Bluetooth, air conditioning, projector headlights with LED tracers and a leather steering wheel and gear knob trim.
A 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine is available with a choice of five-speed manual gearbox or x-shift automated transmission. CO2 emissions of 95-97g/km means all versions are exempt from annual road tax.
The new Aygo x-cite will go on sale in July with prices to
be announced nearer the date.
