The All-New GS 450h

The introduction of the new GS 450h marks the start of a period of further expansion for the GS model range.

With a bold new exterior design, the fourth generation Lexus GS completely redefines the performance saloon. A powerful change, the new GS 450h features the new Lexus brand signature spindle grille.

Powered by leading-edge Full Hybrid technology the new GS 450h delivers breathtaking performance. With over a decade of leadership and innovation, Lexus Hybrid Drive seamlessly combines petrol and electric power for an exceptional driving experience.

A 3.5-litre V6 direct-injection Atkinson Cycle engine and two high-output electric motors combine intelligently to develop 343 DIN hp. Acceleration is smooth and rapid (0 – 62 mph in 5.9 seconds), yet CO2 emissions have fallen to below 145 g/km. And in EV (Electric Vehicle) mode, the GS 450h drives near silently at lower speeds using no petrol and emits zero CO2 and NOx.

With significantly enhanced front and rear suspension technology and greater body rigidity, the new GS 450h is dynamic and engaging to drive. It is a car that conveys a tangible sense of driver confidence, with a chassis that inspires and rewards driver input with crisp and precise handling.

The new GS 450h will be available with a raft of state-of-the-art technologies. Infra-red night vision, the world's first 12.3" split-widescreen display and Driver Monitoring System with closed eye detection are just a few of the highlights.

Further details will be announced nearer the time of launch.

The new GS 250

Lexus has revealed its all-new GS luxury saloon range with the unveiling of the GS 250.

The new GS 250 features a 2.5l V6 engine with D-4S direct and port injection, and Dual VVT-i to both intake and exhaust camshafts, enhancing engine performance.

It develops 154 kW/209 DIN hp at 6,400rpm and 253Nm of torque at 4,800rpm, accelerating the GS 250 from 0- 100km/h in 8.6 seconds and giving a maximum speed of 230km/h. Fuel consumption is 8.9l/100 km, and CO2 emissions 207g/km.

The new 2.5 litre V6 is mated to Lexus’ ‘6 Super ECT’ close-ratio 6-speed automatic transmission, which features a sequential manual shifting mode. It incorporates numerous technologies including faster shift speeds, earlier torque converter lock-up and downshift throttle blips- to support the range of driving modes available through the Drive Mode Select system.

To ensure a high level of comfort and well-being of all vehicle occupants, the new GS 250 is not only more spacious, providing more head and leg room for front and rear occupants, but is also available with a range of cutting-edge technologies such as the next generation RTI (Remote Touch Interface) and the largest on-board multimedia 12.3’’ screen.

The GS 250 will also be available with the F Sport package. Further details will be announced nearer the time of launch.
